Belgian bomber Nicolas Colsaerts finally cashed in on his amateur promise in 2011 when he claimed his first win on The European Tour at the Volvo China Open, eventually winning by four after a quartet of rounds in the 60s at the Luxehills International Country Club. Colsaerts was not the only one to pick up his maiden title at this event though with Stephen Dodd (2005), Jeev Milkha Singh (2006) and Damien McGrane (2008) also picking up their first European Tour silverware here.
