History - WGC-Bridgestone Invitational

Adam Scott picked up his first World Golf Championship title at this event in 2011, doing so with caddie Steve Williams, who himself had previously been part of Tiger Woods’ domination of this tournament since its launch in 1999. The 14 time Major champion not only won that first event and the two that followed, but he also took the title from 2005 to 2007 and again in 2009. The only European to pick up this title so far has been Darren Clarke in 2003, with Craig Parry, Stewart Cink, Vijay Singh and Hunter Mahan also victorious.
