The spectacular Huntingdale Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia, is set to host the MasterCard Masters – the third event of The 2008 European Tour International Schedule – for the 29th successive year.
The (Aus)$1,500,000 MasterCard Masters will take place from November 22-25, 2007, and will feature many of Autralia and New Zealand’s leading players, including: Robert Allenby; Stuart Appleby; Aaron Baddeley; 2005 US Open Champion Michael Campbell and 2004 MasterCard Masters champion Richard Green.
David Rhodes, Vice President of tournament promoters IMG, said: “Our partnership last year with The European Tour delivered significant worldwide coverage to complement the terrific partnership we enjoy with Channel Seven. Last year’s event delivered record media value of over $27 million to the event sponsors.
