Percy and Kelly battled for the lead, Perez went bogey free AGAIN, and there several spectacular eagles.  Here is everything you need to know from Saturday at The Gleneagles Hotel.

Jerry Kelly and Cameron Percy will take a share of the lead into the final round of the ISPS HANDA Senior Open after a back-and-forth battle in windy conditions at Gleneagles during Saturday’s third round.

The lead changed hands several times between the final pairing on Saturday but a final-hole eagle from Percy saw the third-round leader regain his position alongside Kelly at the top of the leaderboard after 54-holes.

The pair are three shots clear of Peter Baker, with Darren Fichardt one behind him on four-under and an impressive group of Ernie Els, Markus Brier and Pat Perez at three-under.

Back nine run has Baker in the hunt

Peter Baker started the third round seven shots behind 36-hole leader Percy, but a blistering back-nine saw him reel off three birdies in a row from the 14th and cap off his day with a final gain at the 18th end Saturday in solo third.

Three behind heading into the final round, Baker says he'll be giving it everything he's got. 
"Obviously delighted with the finish. Had a great finish. Missed a short putt on 13, and I sort of reacted really well to it. Hit a lot of good shots coming in and made a lot of putts which is a big difference.

"I'm going to enjoy it. That's what you practice for and keep going for even as a senior, really, to give yourself a chance to win the big ones. Definitely going to go out there and just give it my best shot tomorrow."

Perez goes bogey-free AGAIN

Pat Perez is playing in only his 11th competitive start this year, but he's the only player in the field to have gone bogey-free TWICE in the past three days. For a man that admittedly has struggled over here, he says it's 'unchartered territory' for him.

Starting from eight shots back on Saturday, Perez is now at three-under and currently tied fifth.

A pair of chip-ins

While Percy's eagle at the last was perhaps one of the defining moments of Saturday, it was a chip in for birdie from Michael Wright and a brilliant chip-in for eagle from Lionel Alexandre that made for two of the most exciting shots of the day.
