The legendary Tony Jacklin will host the 2008 Numark British Par 3 Championship as the event celebrates its 75th anniversary.
The Numark British Par 3 Championship will be played at Nailcote Hall Hotel, Golf and Country Club in Warwickshire, England from August 4-7, 2008.
Jacklin, along with his feloow Ryder Cup winning Captain, Bernard Gallacher, will be the star guests at the Championship, which this year will include the Tribute to Tommy Horton MBE’ golf day in honour of Horton, a five-time winner of the European Seniors Tour Order of Merit.
“The British Par 3 Championship is a unique event with so much history,” said Jacklin. “I am looking forward to playing and hosting the event in its 75th Anniversary. It will be very special to be part of honouring my Ryder Cup and Senior’s colleague Tommy Horton- he’s been so important to the development of the European Seniors Tour.”
