John Bickerton's all-round consistency over the final 18 holes propelled him to victory in the Alfred Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek Golf Club in South Africa. A glance at the Genworth Financial Statistics reveal that he was the second most accurate driver over the last round, hitting 62.5% of the fairways. He was also in the top ten of the Greens in Regulation category with 75%, with only Lee Slattery, who finished joint second, hitting more greens among the leading contenders. Bickerton's putting was also on song as he lay seventh in the Putts per Green in Regulation category and fourth in the Putts per Round. Joint runner-up Ernie Els also putted well but slipped up in the Greens in Regulation department in hitting 69.4%, positioning him 22nd on the last day.
