Andrew Johnston was hopeful that his second European Tour win would come sooner rather than later after a third-place finish at the Omega European Masters.
The Englishman claimed his maiden win at the Real Club Valderrama Open de España, hosted by the Sergio Garcia Foundation earlier in the season and then showed he was a man for the big occasion by sealing top tens at the BMW PGA Championship and The 145th Open Championship.
He took a four-week break after the US PGA Championship and upon his return to action at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club picked up four shots in his closing five holes to secure a fifth top ten of the season.
"It's been a good week," he said. "I had a nice break and it's nice to come in fresh. I really enjoyed this week and I just have to keep pushing on, working hard and trying to get the results.
"It was good today. Again it was a bit frustrating on the front nine but I tried to stay patient and I finally managed to make a score.
"The conditions were perfect, there wasn't much wind. It literally just picked up on the 18th hole when we were playing our second shot in so it was perfect conditions. The eagle (on the 14th) was good, it was a tight pin on the front right and I hit a nice seven iron in into seven feet and I hit a good putt."

Countryman Lee Westwood was a winner in Switzerland in 1999 and he recorded seven birdies to equal the low round of the week with a 63 and take fourth place.
"It was a nice round of golf, a couple of missed putts in there as well and I didn't birdie 14 going in with eight iron so it could have been a 60 really," he said.
"I struggled a little the first day, I hadn't played a whole lot of golf in the four weeks previous. I took a while to get going but my swing started to feel a bit better as the week went on.
"The greens really test your accuracy and your distance control and your straightness, that's one of the things that defends this golf course. You've seen we've had some low scoring, we've had benign conditions this week and receptive greens and it's been almost ideal for scoring.
"It's been a great week and it's nice to come up here and play well."
