Korea lead Johnnie walker Classic

Korea's Choi Gwang-soo and Park Nam-sin opened up a four stroke lead over Thailand at the halfway stage of the Johnnie Walker Asian Nations Cup at Pinx Golf Club, Cheju Island, Korea.

Playing foursomes the Koreans fired a three-under-par 69 to lead on 12-under-par 132.

Thailand's Thammanoon Sriroj and Chawalit Plaphol returned a 71 to lie two ahead of Hong Kong's Wilson Choy and Danny Kan, who came in with a 73.

Taiwan's Lu Wen-teh and Chung Chun-hsing are fourth, two strokes further back, following a 74 with Malaysia's Danny Chia and Rashid Ismail in fifth place in the tournament that will see the top three teams qualify for the World Golf Championship - EMC World Cup in Argentina in December.
