We all know the European Tour's best golfers can hit the green from just about anywhere, but can they do it from a drone?
That was the challenge set by the folks at the Turkish Airlines Open ahead of this year's tournament at the Regnum Carya Resort. After the success of thefirst Drone Golf Championship last year, won by Lee Westwood, four new players took to the roof-top tee on the 16th hole to take control of a drone capable of flying and dropping a golf ball.
Team A, consisting of Henrik Stenson and Ian Poulter, took on the Team B duo of Martin Kaymer and Shane Lowry as they attempted to fly their drone over the 15th green, drop a golf ball onto the green and hole the putt.
