When the sixth edition of the tournament takes place at Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort from May 23-26, 2019, it will be known as Made in Denmark presented by FREJA.

Danish-based Transport & Logistics company FREJA have supported the popular Danish event for the past five years and now take their partnership to the next level.

Thomas Nielsen, Made in Denmark Sales Manager, said: “We are very excited that FREJA, who are one of our many loyal sponsors, have decided to increase their support to our tournaments going forward.

“FREJA is, both as a sponsor and as a name, a perfect match for Made in Denmark (FREJA is the goddess of beauty and love in Nordic Mythology). Well, even the colours match.”

The Made in Denmark presented by FREJA prize fund has increased from €1.5 million last year to €3 million in 2019 and for the next four years.

The tournament has quickly established itself as one of the most popular events on the Race to Dubai, since becoming part of the European Tour International Schedule in 2014.

Jørgen Hansen, CEO FREJA Transport & Logistics, said: “Made in Denmark is an amazing brand, which we have enjoyed being a part of for the past five years. Now we take it to the next level and become the presenting sponsor.

“The professionalism of Made in Denmark fits perfectly with our core values and professional engagements, therefore it is ideal for us to use the event in our marketing and hospitality.”

FREJA will also be presenting sponsor for the Challenge Tour event in Denmark, which will now be known as Made in Denmark Challenge presented by FREJA.
