Thailand's Prayad Marksaeng shot a seven under par 63 to climb into a share of the lead alongside Toshinori Muto at the end of the third round of the Golf Nippon Series JT Cup today.
The 42 year old Marksaeng reeled off seven birdies without dropping a shot while Muto of Japan carded a four-under par 66 to move one stroke clear at the top of the leaderboard at nine under 201 for the tournament.
Overnight leader Jeev Milkha Singh could only manage a round of 68 and dropped into a share of third place alongside teenage prodigy Ryo Ishikawa and Taichi Teshima at eight under.
Japan Tour money leader Shingo Katayama (69) is alongside defending champion Brendan Jones (68) and three others five shots off the pace at four under for the tournament.
