MasterCard have announced the signing of British golfing star, Paul Casey, in an exclusive two-year sponsorship agreement.
The deal sees Casey commit to 2005 MasterCard tournament appearances including the BMW Championship, BMW International Open and Volvo Masters in Europe as well as the MasterCard Masters in Australia, with further appearances to be agreed for 2006.
Casey has also agreed to carry MasterCard branding on his left sleeve and golf bag together with appearances and support to the MasterCard brand and its product portfolio.
MasterCard Senior Vice President Global Sponsorships, John Stuart, today welcomed the deal with Casey saying, “Paul is an exciting British golfing talent and we are delighted with this agreement. He will play an integral role in endorsing MasterCard across the world through his success in the golfing arena and we look forward to a long partnership with Paul.”
Paul Casey expressed his delight with the agreement saying, “As a genuinely world class brand with a strong track record in supporting world golf, I am delighted to be associated with MasterCard. I am now really looking forward to working with MasterCard in Europe and around the world.”
