Colin Montgomerie will be chasing a hat-trick of victories at the Marriott Forest of Arden when he joins the growing list of world-class players in The Daily Telegraph Dunlop Masters from May 12-15.
Montgomerie, who won the title in 1998 having previously won the English Open over the same course in 1994, is the latest Ryder Cup player to confirm his participation in the first tournament of the season in Britain.

He has won at least once every year since 1993, winning the Caltex Masters in Singapore last year and leading Great Britain and Ireland to victory as Captain for The Seve Trophy in 2003. His outstanding achievements earned him a MBE in 1998 and an OBE in the 2005 New Year’’s Honours List.
“I’’m really looking forward to The Daily Telegraph Dunlop Masters next month – it is the first British event of the 2005 European Tour and it’’s always good to play on home soil,” said Montgomerie.
