Fasth claims a place in the World’s Top 50, a climb of 19 places taking him to 42nd in the Official World Golf Ranking.
Joe Durant played a faultless seven birdie 65 final round to win the FUNAI Classic at the WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort by a four stroke margin from Frank Lickliter-II and last week’s winner Troy Matteson. The victory is Durant's first on PGA TOUR since the 2001 season and takes him to World Number 50, an improvement of 37 positions.
Taichi Teshima won the Bridgestone Open on the Japan Golf Tour by a comfortable margin of five strokes taking him to World Number 98.
This week’s other winners were Jyoti Randhawa, who won a three-way playoff in the Hero Honda Indian Open on the Asian Tour, Michael Sim at the PalmettoPride Classic on the Nationwide Tour and James Hepworth, who won the season ending Apulia San Domenico Grand Final on the European Challenge Tour.
