Norman Inducted to World Golf Hall of Fame

Greg Norman, an Honorary Member of The European Tour, was inducted to the World Golf Hall of Fame on Sunday during a ceremony at the World Golf Village in St Augustine Florida.

Norman was elected through the PGA Tour ballot along with the late Payne Stewart. The other new members for 2001 are Judy Bell, Donna Caponi, Allan Robertson and Karsten Solheim.

The World Golf Foundation Board of Directors selected Bell and Solheim for Lifetime Achievement and Robertson for the Veteran category. With six new members, the total number of Hall of Fame inductees has increased to 90.

Sir Michael Bonallack, Neil Coles and John Jacobs were among those inducted to the World Golf Hall of Fame last year.
