With just the Barclays Scottish Open to go, exemptions from Final Qualifying for the 132nd Open Golf Championship are still up for grabs. Ian Poulter, Alastair Forsyth, Philip Golding, Søren Kjeldsen and Greg Owen are all but assured of their place whilst Mark McNulty and David Howell currently lie in the final two exemption spots.
The Championship Committee of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews have provided exemptions from Regional and Final Qualifying for the 132nd Open Golf Championship at Royal St George's, Sandwich, July 17-20 to the first seven and anyone tying for seventh place, who are not otherwise exempt, in the top 25 of a cumulative money list taken from all European Tour events from the Volvo PGA Championship up to and including The Barclays Scottish Open.
