Oscar Jacobson, the Swedish clothing company, is very proud to announce in its Centenary Celebration year that it has been invited to become licensee to the Official Clothing collection 2003, for The European Tour, European Seniors Tour and European Challenge Tour, with an option to continue from 2004 until 2006. All the field staff will be wearing Oscar Jacobson clothing.
Oscar Jacobson will use this opportunity to introduce new technical products such as SPORTWOOL, poloshirts and OUTLAST climate control trousers.
The company, based in Boraas near Gothenburg in Sweden, has established itself as one of the leading clothing brands in Europe and concentrates on the highest quality products both in High Street and golf course markets. Oscar Jacobson will be found in most of the top golf resort facilities in Europe as well as in most private member clubs.
It established the brand in the UK working with Austin Reed, Harrods and Selfridges and has recently opened Oscar Jacobson shops in Bicester Designer Village and in the Golf Place (off the 18th green at St Andrews).
The association with The European Tour, The Professional Golfers Association and The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews has been built up over many years, providing trousers and uniforms to The European Ryder Cup Team (since 1985), Walker Cup, PGA Cup and Solheim Cup.
