Paul Casey defeated Paul McGinley at the second hole of a sudden-death play-off to win the TCL Classic at the Yalong Bay Golf Club, Sanya, Hainan Island. Casey moves up 12 places to 31st in the Official World Golf Ranking.
Kenny Perry won the Bay Hill Invitational by two strokes from Vijay Singh and Northern Ireland’’s Graeme McDowell. Perry climbs 10 places in the Official World Golf Ranking to Number 11, Singh returns to World Number One and McDowell jumps 14 positions to World Number 38.
The 2005 Canadian Tour is underway with the Barton Creek Austin Canadian Tour Pro-Am Classic and the Barton Creek Austin Canadian Tour Challenge, won by Scott Gibson and Omar Uresti respectively.
