Phil Mickelson won the Masters Tournament at Augusta National by two strokes from Tim Clark with a final round of 69 for a 7 under par total. Mickelson’s second straight Major Championship win and his second straight tournament win puts him to World Number Two, a position he last occupied at the beginning of 2003.
Clark’s finish puts him to World Number 15 while Jose Maria Olazabal and Chad Campbell, in a group tied for third, both move into the World Top 15 in 12th and 14th positions respectively.
David Drysdale won the Peugeot Challenge R.C.G. El Prat on the European Challenge Tour and climbs 111 places to 265.
