Quartet of Stars confirmed for Johnnie Walker Classic

Ryder Cup players Thomas Björn and Colin Montgomerie, South African Trevor Immelman and Michael Campbell of New Zealand, have confirmed their participation in next month's Johnnie Walker Classic in Beijing.

Presented by Johnnie Walker, the world's leading deluxe Scotch whisky, the Johnnie Walker Classic is being played from April 21 to 24 at the prestigious Pine Valley Golf Resort and Country Club where the $1.25 million event makes its debut in mainland China for the first time in its 14-year history.

The impressive quartet of international players join a star-studded field that includes four of the world’’s top ten; World Number Three Ernie Els, Retief Goosen at Number Five, Spain's Sergio Garcia ranked Seven and World Number Nine Adam Scott of Australia.

Also joining the galaxy of stars will be Korea’’s Number One, Choi Kyung-ju, European "Young Guns" such as Luke Donald and Paul Casey, six-time Major Champion Nick Faldo and the defending Johnnie Walker Classic champion, Miguel Angel Jiménez of Spain.
