BBC Radio 5 Live's summer of golf begins this week when the hushed reports from beside the greens will once again fill the airwaves for the 1999 Volvo PGA Championship at Wentworth Club.
The 5 Live team, led by golf correspondent Tony Adamson, will be walking the fairways, conveying the drama and tension of every shot and putt.
The Volvo PGA Championship marks the start of an enthralling season of golf on 5 Live, with the US Open to look forward to in June, the Open Championship in July, and the US PGA Championship in August. Then as the autumn approaches the 5 Live team will be at The Country Club, Brookline, for the 1999 Ryder Cup Matches.
If you can't make it to Wentworth this week, tune in to 909 or 693 MW and listen to the award winning coverage of 5 Live. You will find it hard to believe you are not actually walking the fairways yourself.
