At two points during the season, players in Category 11 of The European Tour will be re-ranked as follows:
i) As at May 3rd, the top 20 official money winners from within Category 11 on the 2004 Volvo Order of Merit will be ranked 1-20 in money order in Category 11 and the remainder will follow on in the order established at the Qualifying School. The first tournament entry deadline to be affected will be the Daily Telegraph Damovo British Masters.
ii) As at August 2nd, all players in Category 11 will be re-ranked in order of official money won on the 2004 Volvo Order of Merit. The first tournament entry deadline to be affected will be the KLM Open.
