Switzerland’s Jeremy Freiburghaus moved to the Number One spot on the Road to Mallorca Rankings on 156,249 points courtesy of last week’s victory at the English Trophy presented by Rocket Yard Sports Marketing, while South African JC Ritchie is 21,389 points behind in second place. Ritchie recorded back-to-back wins at the start of the year during the South African Swing and recently finished in second place at the British Challenge presented by Modest! Golf Management in Cornwall.

Germany’s Alexander Knappe occupies third position on the Rankings on 134,386 points after victories at the Dimension Data Pro-Am and B-NL Challenge Trophy by Hulencourt and four further top tens. The 33-year-old, now a four-time European Challenge Tour winner, is looking to become the first German to be crowned Challenge Tour Number One.

Sweden’s Mikael Lindberg heads to Mallorca in fourth position on the Rankings, just 964 points behind Knappe, after a terrific campaign consisting of seven top tens and a maiden Challenge Tour title at the Indoor Golf Group Challenge, while countryman Jens Dantorp completes the top five. Dantorp triumphed at the Challenge de España earlier in the year, his third Challenge Tour title, and impressed on the DP World Tour with top ten finishes at the Cazoo Classic and Hero Open.
