Rose Joins Sporting Celebrities at the Marriott Forest of Arden

Justin Rose will be back in action at the Marriott Forest of Arden this week for The Compass Group English Open aiming for back-to-back victories on home soil.

The 21 year old will tee up alongside England’s greatest all-round cricketer Ian Botham, his son Liam Botham, now full-back with the Newcastle Falcons Rugby Club, and Richard Shepherd of Langan’s, the world renowned group of restaurants, in the Pro-Am on Wednesday 5 June at 12.20pm.

On Sunday Rose captured the Victor Chandler British Masters after a thrilling duel with his best friend Ian Poulter at Woburn Golf and Country Club to win his first title in England. It was Rose’s second victory on The 2002 European Tour International Schedule following his win in the dunhill championship in South Africa in January and his fourth victory worldwide in the past five months.

Following his win, Rose climbed into the top 50 in the World Rankings for the first time and he will be heading the home challenge in The Compass Group English Open from June 6-9 as the highest ranked Englishman in the world.

Tickets for The Compass Group English Open, to be played from June 6-9, are priced as follows; Adult: Season - £38, Any One Day (Thursday-Sunday) - £15, Wednesday - £5. Youths and OAP’s: Season - £18, Any One Day (Thursday-Sunday) - £8, Wednesday – Free. Under 16s wil enter free of charge. Reserved car parking will be £2 per day.
