A third round of level par 72 left European Tour Member Adam Scott of Australia trailing his countryman Rod Pampling by three strokes going into the final round of the US PGA Tour’s Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley.
Scott had produced an awesome second round effort of ten under par 62 to surge into the lead at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio, but he could not maintain that birdie blitz during round three.
He remains very much in contention though, in a tie for second place with Sean O’Hair of the USA.
