Trevor Immelman and Rory Sabbatini will renew their successful partnership when the World Golf Championships – World Cup is played at Real Club de Golf de Sevilla in Spain from 18-21 November.
The South Africans won by four strokes from England and by five from France over the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island in South Carolina last year. This time, Paul Casey returns to England duty hoping to go one better, joining forces with his former Walker Cup partner and now Ryder Cup team-mate, Luke Donald, in Seville.
European Ryder Cup player, Thomas Levet, again teams up with Raphaël Jacquelin while another pair of Ryder Cup heroes, Padraig Harrington and Paul McGinley of Ireland, attempt to repeat their World Cup victory in 1996.
Another prominent Ryder Cup pairing will be the Spanish entry of Sergio Garcia, who won four and a half points out of five at Oakland Hills last month, and Miguel Angel Jiménez, who has accumulated five titles on The European Tour International Schedule in 2004.
