Spectator Information

PLEASE

No mobile phones or pagers, no dogs, no cameras or video cameras on the course.

Do not talk or move about while a competitor is playing a shot.

Do not speak to the players while they are on the course.

Walk, don't run, and obey the Marshals - they are trying to make your day more enjoyable.

Please keep behind the ropes and barriers around the course and use the official crossing points.

Please display your admission badge prominently at all times.

SPECTATOR AND VEHICLE CONTENTS

Please note that Wentworth Club and the organisers of the Championship disclaim all responsibility whatsoever for vehicles and/or the contents thereof whilst on these premises.

FIRST AID

The First Aid Centre is situated adjacent to the putting green. In the event of injury or in an emergency on course, please contact the nearest Marshal who will be able to help you. Within the tented village area, please contact the Championship Office situated behind the grandstand at the back of the 18th green.

TENTED VILLAGE AREA

The tented village, situated adjacent to the 18th green, offers extensive public catering and bar facilities. A Champagne and Seafood Bar is also situated within the village area.

The main scoreboard, at the centre of the Food Court area, shows all the competitors' hole-by-hole scores for that day and their overall score for the Championship. The Volvo Golf Zone, the Championship Exhibition and Merchandise Stand give the opportunity to view a variety of items, both golf and non-golf related.

The Volvo Teaching School is located adjacent to the Practice Ground and bookings can be made from the Volvo Golf Zone.

A FREE crèche facility for children aged 2-8 years is available in the Volvo Playcare Centre.

Public payphones, the Reuters big screen and bank facilities, provided by the Royal Bank of Scotland are available within the tented village.

Please look out for our recycling points located in the village where paper, cardboard, cans and plastic can be discarded.

COURTESY TRANSPORT

A courtesy bus shuttle service will operate from the main public car park and tented village to various vantage points on the West Course.

EVENT RADIOS

Event Radios with full live coverage of the days’ play (107.3FM) can be purchased from the tented village and various locations on course.

ON-COURSE CATERING

Catering facilities are available at the 5th, 7th, 10th and 14th holes.

ON-COURSE VIEWING FACILITIES

Free public grandstands are situated by the 2nd, 14th, 16th and 18th greens and also by the Practice Range. Good natural vantage points around the course include the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th 10th and 14th greens. The area between the 7th and 10th greens provides excellent views of the 7th, 8th, 10th and 11th holes.

FACILITIES FOR THE DISABLED

Event Mobility, located in the Disabled Car Park can provide a number of electric scooters which can be used by the elderly or disabled for a day of golf watching. There will be attendants to show you how to use the vehicles and also to give you a map of the course and indicate which areas might not be suitable for the scooters.

Wheelchair ramps are provided in all the public amenities within the tented village. A Disabled toilet is also situated in the tented village and the disabled car park.

A special bus for disabled visitors will operate to vantage points on the course. Please notify the nearest Marshal at that point who will guide you to a designated viewing area.

If you should have any problems, please contact the Championship Office behind the 18th green.
