US Open Champion Retief Goosen, World Number Eight Padraig Harrington, big-hitting John Daly and defending champion Trevor Immelman have committed for the 2005 Deutsche Bank Players’’ Championship of Europe which returns to Gut Kaden, Hamburg, Germany, from July 21-24.
The Deutsche Bank Players’’ Championship of Europe carries a record prize fund of €3.3 million - the highest purse ever to have been offered in any professional sporting event on German soil – with the winner earning €550,000.
Alex Cejka, Bernhard Langer and Marcel Siem will lead the home challenge while other crowd favourites Thomas Björn, Paul Casey, Colin Montgomerie and Ian Poulter, have also confirmed their participation.

Tickets are limited to 20,000 per day to ensure fans get to see the players close up but to give last minute visitors the opportunity to be there, the box offices will have a minimum of 5,000 tickets available daily.
The Deutsche Bank Players’’ Championship of Europe will also have the “Public Centre” and adjoining beer garden, offering a wide range of food and beverages. More than 40 exhibitors will be represented.
