Stenson and Hansen complete HSBC World Match Play field

Henrik Stenson and Søren Hansen have secured the final two places in the 16 man HSBC World Match Play Championship field as the leading two European Tour players, not already qualified, on the European Tour Order of Merit.

The following players have qualified and accepted their invitations to compete for the largest first prize in golf of £1,000,000 over the West Course at Wentworth Club from October 11-14.

Now in its 44th year, the HSBC World Match Play Championship is officially sanctioned by the European Tour with the results counting towards the European Tour Order of Merit and Official World Golf Ranking Points. The total prize fund will be £2,440,000 with all matches being decided over 36 holes.
