Richard Sterne, of South Africa, claimed his second title in the space of five months when he held off the challenges of compatriots and fellow European Tour Members James Kingston and Titch Moore, along with Grant Muller, to win the Nashua Masters at Wild Coast Sun Country Club in South Africa.
Sterne, who captured the maiden title when he won the Open de Madrid on The 2004 European Tour International Schedule last October, was tied for the lead with Kingston playing the final hole but got his hands on the trophy when Kingston double bogeyed the last.
A final round of level par 70 gave Sterne a winning total of 269, 11 under par, one clear of Moore and Muller, who closed with rounds of 66 and 68 respectively, with Kingston a further stroke back after a 69.
