Andy Sullivan stayed on course to become the first man to win three European Tour events this season as he stormed further ahead during the final round of the Portugal Masters.
The Englishman has held at least a share of the lead after every round this week and he carded two birdies in his opening nine holes on Sunday to get to 20 under and open up a six-shot lead over Eduardo de la Riva and Trevor Fisher Jnr.
Overnight rain and a threat of storms meant the shotgun start was delayed by two hours at Oceånico Victoria Golf Club but Sullivan was unfazed as he looks to add to The South African Open Championship Hosted by the City of Ekurhuleni and the Joburg Open titles he won earlier in the year.
After two solid pars to start, Sullivan left himself a testing six-footer on the third but he found the middle of the cup as playing partners De La Riva and Chris Wood both dropped shots to see his lead extended to six shots.
A stunning, curling 25-foot putt on the fourth then moved Sullivan to 19 under and when he found the fifth green in two and left his eagle putt right next to the hole, it was back-to-back birdies.
De la Riva also made a birdie to get to 13 under but nobody was able to put any pressure on the leader whose cushion was seven shots.
The Spaniard picked up another shot on the tricky seventh - which had yielded just 25 birdies over the first three days - but he gave it back on the ninth and Sullivan remained comfortable at the turn.
South African Fisher Jnr began his round on the 18th and birdies on the second, fourth, fifth and seventh catapulted him up to a share of second place with Wood a further shot back after two birdies and a bogey.
An eagle on the fifth helped Alvaro Quiros to four under for the day and 11 under in total alongside countryman Jorge Campiillo, Thomas Pieters and Bernd Wiesberger.
Edouard Espana, who is 102nd in the Race to Dubai, was a further shot back and on track to nail down his card for next year with Thomas Bjørn and Hennie Otto also ten under.
Anders Hansen is playing in his final European Tour event this week and he was in a large group at nine under.
