Sweden’’s Richard S Johnson shares the lead at the halfway stage of the FedEx St Jude Classic at the TPC at Southwind, Memphis, Tennessee, after a five under par 66 took him to 12 under par alongside American John Huston.
On a good day for the Swede’’s, compatriot Fredrik Jacobson continued to tap into the rich vein of form which saw him finish joint highest European in the US Open in a share of fifth place when he added a four under par 67 to his opening 66 to lie on nine under par in joint fourth place.
Johnson, the 2002 ANZ Championship winner, made his round with a run of birdie, eagle, birdie, to maintain his position at the top of the leaderboard after an opening 64.
Jacobson, winner of two titles on The European Tour International Schedule this season, picked up six birdies in his round, interspersed by two bogeys for a 67.
