Tournament History

The Vivendi Trophy with Severino Ballesteros returns to The European Tour International Schedule, pitting Continental Europe against Great Britain & Ireland. Played every two years, alternately with the Ryder Cup, it was Great Britain & Ireland who took the trophy in 2009 when Paul McGinley led them to victory against Thomas Björn's Continental Europe. Organised by CANAL+ EVENTS, the Vivendi Trophy with Severino Ballesteros will once again be played at the composite course at Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche in Paris. The Seve Trophy, as the event was previously knonw, was first played in 2000 and on four subsequent occasions prior to 2009.
