Brazilian Adilson Da Silva and South Africans Grant Veenstra and Andrew Georgiou have earned places in July's Open Championship at Royal Lytham.
The trio came through the 36-hole international qualifier at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington after overnight leader Tim Sluiter carded a 78.
The Dutch golfer, who opened with a 66, looked to be cruising through when he set off with an eagle.
But from eight under par with six holes to play he bogeyed the next three holes, ran up a quadruple bogey at the short 16th and dropped another shot on the next.
Sluiter dropped from first place to joint 18th on level par, six behind Veenstra, who birdied the last to pip Georgiou and Da Silva by one.
Veenstra said: "We all dream about playing in The Open while growing up.
"Every golfer wants to play amongst the best, to play at the highest level, and I am so excited for this chance to test myself.
"This is very stressful because you are playing for something very special.
Da Silva looked to have blown his chances of coming through the event for the third time when he double-bogeyed the 16th.
"It hasn't sunk in completely. It's ridiculous how excited I am to play in The Open," he said. "After that round I am glad to be able to breathe again."
