European Tour Member Vijay Singh is one shot of the pace at the halfway stage of the Canadian Open after a second round of 65 left the Fijian on nine under par 133.
Singh trails Australian Steve Allen and the USA’s John Mallinger by a single stroke at the Angus Glen Golf Club in Ontario.
“I haven't been on the leaderboard for a while, so I'm excited. I'm looking forward to playing a solid weekend,” said Singh.
Defending champion and World Number Three, Jim Furyk, carded a five under 66 to move to seven under for the championship.
