Glyn Kirk (Action Plus Sports) exchanged his camera for his clubs and took part in the annual Volvo Golf Photographers Day on Monday (21st May) played at the impressive Mill Ride Golf Club in Ascot.
Kirk, 15 handicap, bravely hit a Driver and a 5 Wood on the 511yard, water guarded, 18th hole, finishing just 20 feet from the pin. He secured his birdie 4 with two tidy putts, to close with 34 Stableford Points edging out the challenge from Andrew Redington, (8 handicap, Allsport) who carded 33 points. Charles Briscoe Knight took 3rd place with a very creditable score of 30 points playing of a 7 handicap.
Glyn Kirk was presented with a Wilson Deep Red Driver by Mr John Lefley, Volvo Director of PR and Events and thanked Volvo for their continued support to the Golf Photographers Day and Mill Rill Golf Club for their hospitality.
