We’ve got 150 pounds worth of European Tour merchandise up for grabs, and all you have to do to have a chance of winning it, is cast your vote in the August Shot of the Month competition.
Here are theten best efforts from last monthfor you to choose from:
Shot 1: Paul McGinley showed his prospective European players how it is done from the sand at Gleneagles, holing out with aplomb in Scotland, on the course that will host The 2014 Ryder Cup.
Shot 2: Few people have as sweet a touch around the greens as Australia’s Brett Rumford and he proved that once again at the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles, removing the flag from off the green, before pouring a clipped wedge into the hole for an unlikely birdie.
Shot 3: There was more short game magic from defending champion Paul Lawrie at Gleneagles, splashing out from a greenside bunker before watching the ball disappear into the hole.
Shot 4: Tommy Fleetwood needed something to happen on Sunday at the Johnnie Walker Championship, and when he needed it most, he drained a snake down the slope at the par five 16thhole for an eagle that would eventually see him claim a maiden European Tour title in a play-off later that afternoon.
Shot 5: Danny Willett showed the touch of a European Tour winner at Gleneagles when, faced with a slick downhill chip from a tricky lie, he slid the open face of his wedge underneath the ball and popped it out onto the green and into the hole.
Shot 6: Faced with a lengthy birdie effort at the par three 17thhole on The Celtic Manor Resort’s Twenty Ten Course, Sweden’s Fredrik Andersson Hed showed great touch in holing out up the slope from 50 feet.
Shot 7: Espen Kofstad played alongside Ryder Cup Captain Paul McGinley in the first group out on the opening morning of, not only the ISPS Handa Wales Open, but also the European Qualification process for Gleneagles. The Norwegian made quite an impression too, holing out from a bunker on the 18thhole to card a closing eagle and finish off a fine opening round of seven under par.
Shot 8: Gregory Bourdy got his title challenge off to a fine start on Sunday at the ISPS Handa Wales Open, holing out from the greenside sand for an eagle three.
Shot 9: After Bourdy’s back nine charge in Wales, 54 hole leader Peter Uihlein was faced with a must make birdie putt down the 17thgreen, and make it he did, to retain some hope of picking up a second title of the year.
Shot 10: Having birdied the 16thand 17thholes to put himself in position for the ISPS Handa Wales Open title, Bourdy rubber stamped his coronation with a superb putt up the slope at the par five 18thhole to claim his fourth European Tour win.
