With this win Daniel Vancsik secured his first European Tour International Schedule victory in his 50th  European Tour event and beats his best previous European Tour performance of tied 16th at the 2006 Algarve  Open de Portugal Caixa Geral de Depositos. His seven shot winning margin is the largest on the 2007 European Tour to date.

• His 270 (-18) equals the lowest winning score in the event, set by Des Smyth in 2001

• Gains a European Tour exemption until the end of the 2009 season

• Gains a place in the 2008 HSBC Champions

• Gains his largest European Tour prize of €116,660  (£79,925)

• The ninth different Argentine golfer to win on The European Tour

• The 24th Argentine  victory on The European Tour

• The tenth first-time winner on the 2007 European Tour International Schedule,  following Y E Yang (HSBC Champions),  José Manuel Lara (UBS Hong Kong Open),  Nathan Green (Blue Chip New Zealand Open), Alvaro Quiros (Alfred Dunhill Championship), Ariel Cante (Joburg Open),  Mikko Ilonen (Enjoy Jakarta Astro Indonesian Open) and Haig (Johnnie Walker Classic),  Liang Wen-chong (Clariden Leu Singapore Masters) and Chapchai Nirat (TCL Classic)

• Fourth  consecutive first-time winner, following Haig, Wen-chong and Nirat
