Jayden Schaper became the first back-to-back winner on the DP World Tour since countryman Louis Oosthuizen as he won the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.

• His second DP World Tour victory on his 96th start, at 24 years old, after winning his first a week earlier at the Alfred Dunhill Championship
• He is the first player to win back-to-back events on the DP World Tour since Louis Oosthuizen, who also won the Alfred Dunhill Championship and AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open during the Opening Swing of the 2024 Race to Dubai season
• Becomes the fourth South African winner of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, following on from Oosthuizen, Dylan Frittelli and George Coetzee
• Bolsters his position at the top of the Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World, claiming 500 points to rise to 1,348.00 points
• Wins the Opening Swing, having won twice and finished runner-up at the Nedbank Golf Challenge in honour of Gary Player across his three starts
• As a winner of the Global Swing, he gains entry into the Hero Dubai Desert Classic - the first of five Rolex Series events - and all of the DP World Tour's Back 9 events, along with a US$200,000 bonus
• Improves to a career-high 63rd on the Official World Golf Ranking, up from 94th. On December 11, 2024 he was 306th
• The 177th win by players from South Africa on the DP World Tour
