Nyfjall leads 12 players through to second stage in England

DP World Tour First Stage Qualifying School took place this week at The Northumberland Golf Club, with 12 players securing safe passage through to Second Stage.

Sweden’s David Nyfjall reached 12 under par to lead successful qualifiers through to the next stage in Spain next month, finish a shot clear of Northern Ireland’s John-Ross Galbraith and Spain’s Manuel Morugan.

Amateurs Tyler Kowack and Tom Hughes secured safe passage those with scores of six under or better having direct access into Second Stage and the chance to play for DP World Tour playing opportunities and full playing status on the HotelPlanner Tour for the 2027 season.

DP World Tour Qualifying School Second Stage will take place across four venues in Spain from October 29 – November 3.
