The Turkish Airlines Open produced one of the most dramatic finishes in European Tour history at The Montgomerie Maxx Royal.
The Rolex Series often produces high drama and the 2019 Turkish Airlines Open was no different as six players finished 72 holes on 20 under par and did battle in a thrilling play-off.
It took four trips back up the 18th for Tyrrell Hatton to overcome Benjamin Hebert, Kurt Kitayama, Victor Perez, Matthias Schwab and Erik van Rooyen, with a bogey from Schwab eventually handing Hatton a second Rolex Series victory under the floodlights.
This is how the play-off unfolded and the words of the men who were in it.
There had only been two other six man play-offs in European Tour history, with Scot Stephen McAllister winning the 1990 Vinho Verde Atlantic Open and England's Mark Foster triumphing at the 2003 Dunhill Championship.
In the first threeball back up the last, a poor tee shot destroyed Van Rooyen's chances while Kitayama was just over the back in two and got down in the same number for a birdie.
Hatton's race looked to be run when he found a horrible lie with his second and was off the green in three but he chipped in for a birdie bringing a huge celebration.
Schwab had to lay up after finding rough off the tee but played a wonderful third to set up a birdie, with Hebert and Perez both failing to match him after finding the rough themselves.
The next trip up the last produced three pars as Kitayama missed a six footer for victory and he was heading home after the next as his par could not match birdies from Hatton and Schwab.
Hatton missed a short putt for birdie after laying up on the next but Schwab missed a short one of his own after chipping over the green and the resulting bogey meant Hatton joined Jon Rahm, Alex Noren, Justin Rose, Danny Willett and Bernd Wiesberger as a multiple Rolex Series winner.

"It's so surreal. I mean, I actually can't believe that I've won. You don't think about the money at all, it's all pride. It's a bonus at the end of it after a great week and I'm just so happy, I don't know what else to say. I was kind of getting in my own way with moaning about the little bit of mud on the ball from the fairway, and obviously it was just left in a dead spot. Mick (caddie) said, 'Yeah, chip it in.' I went back to when I was a kid at Harleyford just chipping away and you'd hole three in a row. That really focused me and it came out perfect. Amazing that it went in and just so thankful that I've gone on to win the title."
Matthias Schwab
"It was a close call. I had some good looks and good chances coming down the stretch in regular play and didn't take advantage of them. In the play-off, it is what it is. It's still a second place finish, which is obviously not too bad but at the moment, it's not too great."
Benjamin Hebert
"It was a good week. It's always a good week to go to the play-off. The game was solid. My driving is not very good so I can't be aggressive from the tee and I'm always playing a little shy. It's a very consistent one and I'm still okay."
Erik van Rooyen
"What a way to finish. I'm obviously bleak about the tee shot I just hit in a play-off but what a week it's been. I'm really happy I gave myself a chance, that's what we did today. We got off to a hot start. I finished with an eagle on 18 to get in the play-off and that's what you want."
Kurt Kitayama
"It was pretty fun. A little disappointed but gave myself a couple of chances. It's too bad. To put myself right back in it today and to get myself a win would have been amazing. I'm pleased how today went. Obviously the ending was tough but overall, a great learning experience."
Victor Perez
"I think if somebody would have told me at the start of the day I would have been into a play-off, I would have been delighted just to get into a play-off so very pleased with the event. Showed some form again on a scoreable but still difficult course and it's going to be a good preparation next week before Dubai."
