Sweden’s Jonas Blixt made a significant move up the leaderboard as the leaders began their third rounds at the US PGA Championship.
Blixt turned in a three under 32 after birdies at the first, fifth and ninth to improve to five under par for the week.
That was good enough for a share of sixth place, with halfway leader Jason Dufner four shots ahead after his Major record-equalling 63.
The American’s lead was down to one over Adam Scott and Matt Kuchar, who both birdied the first.
Swede Henrik Stenson and England’s Justin Rose both suffered early bogeys to slip back alongside Blixt on five under, although Lee Westwood improved to three under after turning in 33.
