In triumphing at Denmark’s Helsingor Golf Club, Tomori followed in the footsteps of Seiji Ebihara, Noboru Sugai and Dragon Taki to become the fourth Japanese winner on the European Senior Tour. His best result on Tour was a runner-up finish to Thomas Björn in the 1999 Sarazen World Open, played at PGA Golf de Catalunya.
