Born in Pretoria, he turned professional in 2014 after an excellent amateur career that saw him represent South Africa twice in the Eisenhower Trophy, win several events in his homeland, and finish runner-up in the 2014 Amateur Championship.

Won the Sunshine Tour's Order of Merit in 2018/2019.

Best season to date was in 2023, where he finished as a runner-up on three occasions and finished the season ranked 32nd on the Race to Dubai rankings.

Finished second at the 2024 Bahrain Championship, before an anterior cruciate ligament rupture and medial meniscus tear while playing padel resulted in a seven-month injury lay-off.

Won Final Stage of DP World Tour Qualifying School in 2025.
