The former World Cup player was one of Australia’s most accomplished golfers in the late 1970s and 1980s. He won three times in India, five times in Australasia, as well as 11 occasions in Japan. He also learned to speak Japanese fluently during his time in the country. Has enjoyed a long playing career which included making a World Cup appearance in 1990. Highlight so far on the European Seniors Tour was winning the 2002 De Vere Hotels Seniors Classic at the De Vere Slaley Hall, where he led from start to finish. That victory meant he joined Steve Stull, Gary Wintz and Dragon Taki as the fourth 2001 Qualifying School graduate to win on the 2002 Seniors Tour. In 2003, he was unable to repeat his success of the previous year when he finished 14th on the Order of Merit following a joint second place finish in the Royal Westmoreland Barbados Open plus four other top tens. Finished 40th on the Order of Merit in 2004.
