    Became the oldest golfer in history to earn a full card at the European Seniors Tour Qualifying School when, at the age of 64, he claimed seventh place at the 2003 School. The American has a history of doing well at the School. Three years before, he won the 2000 School at PGA Golf de Catalunya. Dolan III has been competing on the Seniors Tour since 1992, his best performance being tied second behind Neil Coles in the 1999 Dalmahoy Scottish Seniors Open. A regular on the US PGA Tour for nine seasons between 1962 and 1970, with his best finish being a tie for second behind Phil Rodgers in the Doral Open in 1966. He won the Quebec Open on two occasions and also amassed numerous victories in PGA events in and around New England. The American once recorded eight birdies in nine holes during the 1998 Senior British Open at Royal Portrush.
