Was given the nickname ‘Jigger’ as he often danced in his nappies as a child.

First picked up a club at the age of five at Rotherham Golf Club where he practised alongside a promising group of youngsters that included future Masters Tournament winner Danny Willett.

Was diagnosed with Leukemia aged seven, but was still able to work on his golf game after having to give up impact sports.

After recovering from the illness aged 12 he now stands at six foot nine and a half inches tall and will become the tallest player in European Tour history in 2018 after coming through all three stages of Qualifying School in 2017.
