Canadian Delaney is a right arm, below elbow amputee since birth.

Encouraged into the game by his father, Ellard, his home course is Pointe West GC, in Ontario.

He has finished in the top 10 of the Gross division in Golf Canada's national G4D tournament two years in a row, as well as winning the Stableford division in 2022.
