Has six DP World Tour wins to his name, including four on home soil.

Established his credentials by dominating South Africa’s amateur scene, becoming only the second player, after Trevor Immelman, to win both the junior and senior National Stroke Play and Match Play titles. Turned professional in 2001 and graduated from the HotelPlanner Tour in 2002.

Comes from a sporting family with his father involved in motor racing, his mother an ice-skater and sister, Farrah, one of the top squash players in South Africa.

Took up the game at the age of four, when he went out with his grandmother to play.
