How to get to the Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship

Download the app to find bikes available on Yas Island. The ride starts as soon as you unlock the bike from the dock. The ride ends when the bike is docked back. You can use the bike for 45 mins. If you choose to extend the trip beyond 45 mins, an extension fare of AED 10 for every additional 30 mins will apply.

Note: You must be 15 years or older to ride with Careem Bike and bikes cannot be brought into the venue.

Getting around Abu Dhabi is easier than ever with the new Experience Abu Dhabi Shuttle Bus service. This hassle-free transportation option offers comfortable seating, air-conditioning, wheelchair accessibility, and Wi-Fi access.

By Bus:

Guests travelling from Dubai to Yas Links Golf Course can use the RTA intercity bus network to travel to Abu Dhabi, followed by a taxi or local public transport connection to Yas Island.

From Dubai Marina, JLT or JBR

Take the E101 bus from Ibn Battuta Bus Station, located next to Ibn Battuta Metro Station and Ibn Battuta Mall, the E101 operates directly between Ibn Battuta Bus Station and Abu Dhabi Bus Station.

From Bur Dubai, Satwa or Karama

Take the E100 bus from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station directly to Abu Dhabi Bus Station.

Once you arrive at Abu Dhabi Bus Station, continue to Yas Links Golf Course by taxi or suitable onward public transport.

Journey Time

The Dubai–Abu Dhabi bus journey takes approximately 2 hours, depending on the route, traffic and operating conditions and timings. For the most up-to-date routes, timings and journey information, please use the RTA Journey Planner & RTA Bus Timetable.

Guests should allow additional time for the onward journey from Abu Dhabi Bus Station to Yas Links.

From Dubai on the E11 Highway (Sheikh Zayed Road):

Take Sheikh Zayed Road south, heading towards Abu Dhabi

Take the Yas Island East Exit 'Yas Leisure Drive' 5

Follow the blue signs that say 'Yas Leisure Drive' until you reach brown tourist signs that read 'Ferrari World Abu Dhabi'

Taxi and Uber drop off and collection is available outside of the Welcome Tent at the venue. The entrance to the Welcome Tent can be found off Yas Drive, Abu Dhabi. (24.477296, 54.603308).

To our Volunteers we are offering free park and ride from the Public Car Park.  Parking passes will be checked upon entry. Shuttles from the car park to Yas Links Golf Club will be operating every 15 minutes. Drop off and pick up will be located outside the venue’s main Welcome Tent.
